Today we celebrated our latest sales milestone, with our Nairobi and Mombasa clean fuel Networks now serving over 350,000 Kenyan households.
This comes on the back of strong growth in 2021, during which we grew our clean fuel subscriber base in Kenya by 450%. With the Mombasa Network rapidly scaling, we’re also turning our attention to the launch of additional Networks across Kenya during 2022.
Word of KOKO’s clean fuel and carbon platform is spreading fast, with our Kenya Network recently profiled in Bloomberg and discussions underway with policymakers and prospective partners in a range of potential new markets.
In late 2021 we also launched KOKO Club, a tech-enabled direct-to-consumer retail platform that enables everyday low prices on a range of food and FMCG products, as covered by TechCrunch.
